You may not be a fan of the design of the knee joints, but it looks like we’re stuck with them. This workshop will show you the best ways to deal with those pesky knees on the mat.
Knee pain is the most common musculoskeletal complaint your clients will experience. Whether from an increase or decrease in activity, the number of knee problems is rising and when our knees get sore, pressure on our ankles is also increased.
The knee joint is more than just a basic hinge joint. It can bend, straighten, twist, and rotate all while bearing the weight of the body. So it makes sense that if the knees are out of alignment, the imbalance is transferred to the ankles as well.
This workshop will help you rethink every step you take. We will start by showing your how to realign the way you walk, run, and stand to bring greater strength and flexibility to the lower leg and ankle.
Whether its Runner’s knee pain, a meniscus tear, osteoarthritis, injury to bones/ligaments, or if your clients are in need of surgery or recovering from surgery, there are yoga moves to gently balance and help repair the ankles and knees.
