Foundational Natal Yoga Teacher Training

Course Description

This 50-hour postgraduate teaching training will help you understand what happens during all stages of pregnancy, and how to teach women in this exciting (but sometimes scary) time in their lives.
You’ll learn approriate trimenster-based yoga and therepeutic yoga for postnatal recovery. You’ll also practice adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual needs
so you can leave the course with the confidence to teach.

This course teaches skills and knowledge including:

  • Remedial Yoga Therapy postures and movements for each trimester
  • Health issues such as blood pressure and muscle fatigue
  • Yoga for your birthing plan
  • Improving hormonal instability

Foundational Natal Yoga Teacher Training is the perfect introduction to remedial natal yoga therapy or for teachers of different yoga styles to add depth to their understanding yoga for women all all ages and stages of life.

Entry Requirements

This course has been designed for yoga teachers with a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience or graduates of our Certificate IV in Remedial Yoga Teaching (10137NAT). If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact us to enquire.

Delivery: The course includes 15 face-to-face learning hours with experienced remedial yoga therapy teachers (as a 3-day series), a pre-course online component, self-paced home study and supervised practical teaching components.
